Seattle. Wonderful times
by catfishcatfish on 11-5-2008Seattle was awesome. I had such a splendid time. Huge shout out to Paul Kitner for being awesome. I love that dude. So I was up there for the LG world championships and they were rad. I actually didn't announce the comp because I was too busy making that CBS money!! They had me doing some sideline reporting for the contest. The show will air mid-december sometime. If I remember I'll post the air-times. It was rad because we got to do some really fun stuff. For example..CBS rented a cop car and we got to play with it. Like this:

So much hate
by catfishcatfish on 10-9-2008I think i have figured out why there is so much hate in BMX. It's because BMX was invented by Hitler.

So freestyle.
by catfishcatfish on 10-6-2008This guy is my favorite. I love it when he drops new videos because he always has something brand new. Case in point. Thank you Rob Ridge.

Near death experience.
by catfishcatfish on 10-5-2008Wild weekend in Cincy went down. It was nice to actually drive my car to a contest for once. The ASA contest went down this weekend and there was 10 grand on the line for Vert and BMX triples which was basically two step up box jumps and a quarter pike. Lots of dudes came out. Bestwick won vert and Rob Darden won triples. Stoked for both of them. Highlights for me were Koji killing the vert ramp. Seriously Koji might be the most underated BMX rider ever. The shit he does is so far beyond me. He is advanced. Craig Mast rode really good and there was drama about whether his score should have beaten Mike Spinners. Craig did triple whip, 720, and then a front flip flair at coping. Spinner did triple whip, 720. triple whip on the quarter about 6 feet out. The judges gave it to Spinner but a lot of people thought Mast had it. My highlight was Demetrius Androwoski from Texas. He rules and pulled a Tarzan Whip. He said his dad invented it. It's basically a half tailwhip and you catch the seat, then you whip it back to you. It looks awesome and there is an incredible amount of potential there. Imagine pushing it superman seat grap--Sean Butler style. How sick would that look? Think about it. Anyway...props D. Props to Darden too. KILLING IT this year. 10 g's is a nice weekend in Ohio.
